Announcing a New Pop-up Glass Event AND it's Inspirations!

I’m delighted to introduce a new monthly gathering: a pop-up exhibit and sale of my glass art. My new idea is that each month, I will host a small pop-up, with limited featured items. I hope you’ll join me for my first monthly pop-up on Saturday, September 19th!

Featured collection for September: “The Canyon”. This collection was inspired by an 18-day whitewater rafting trip that I took, traveling down the Colorado River, winding through the Grand Canyon last October. I traveled with 18 fellow rafters in the care of 8 phenomenal guides—an experience that continues to weave its way into my creations. There are two “streams” running through this month’s featured work….

The first “stream” reflects the canyon itself: its colors, patterns, and profound sense of deep time. The layered canyon walls revealed ages upon ages of history, while the river’s powerful current and lively rapids brought me fully into the present. I also felt deep respect, which I hope is reflected in my glass, for those who made their lives in the canyon at various times during recent centuries.

I look forward to sharing these pieces—and the stories behind them—with you.

My best,
Kitty

“The Canyon” | Glass Pop-Up Exhibit & Sale
Date: Sat, September 19th
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Location: 1120 Pamplona Avenue, Davis

Please stop by to browse, visit, and enjoy the glass!

Pop-ups will continue monthly on the 3rd Saturday of the month!

The second “stream” celebrates my fellow travelers—their stories and personalities, their humor, their many kindnesses, and the delight they find in this life. Each, in their own way, expanded on the canyon’s distinctive color palette, adding interesting and dynamic “color” to both our journey and this glass collection.
